The “Auto da Corsa 1:43” collection by Centauria (Italy) is a modern partwork series dedicated to Formula 1 diecast models, designed to bring together some of the most iconic single-seater cars in the sport’s history in an accessible and collectible format.

Overview of the Collection

“Auto da Corsa” is a 1:43 scale diecast collection of Formula 1 cars, officially launched in Italy on 7 March 2026 and distributed through newsstands nationwide.

The series is published by Centauria, an Italian company well known for collectible magazine series across Europe, particularly in motorsport-themed collections.

The aim of the collection is to allow fans to build a complete visual history of Formula 1, combining modern championship cars with legendary machines from past decades.

Format and Structure

Like many European collectible series, “Auto da Corsa” follows a partwork (edicola) format, where each issue includes both a model and a magazine:

Scale: 1:43
Materials: Diecast metal body with plastic components
Manufacturer: IXO (widely used for partwork diecasts)
Packaging: Blister pack with acrylic display case and themed base
Display base: Designed to resemble a racetrack kerb
Extras: Illustrated magazine covering technical data, race history, and drivers

Each issue is self-contained, meaning collectors receive a complete model and its documentation every time.
